Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Kirby Lee Paul Guidry, 63, who died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at his residence.

He will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Merlin Byron, Chance Byron, Kevin Gilliam, Benny Freeman, Keith Hebert and Calvin Touchet.

He is survived by his fiancee, Elaine Hebert; mother, Wanita B. Guidry; four step children, Chance Byron and his wife, Margaret, Merlin Byron, Michelle Byron and companion, Benny Freeman, and Courtney Gilliam and husband, Kevin; and nine step grandchildren, Trevor Byron, Alanna Byron, Ja'Coby Byron, Benny Freeman, Jr., Ba'nesha Freeman, Bryzon Byron, Victoria Byron, Brianna Byron, and Darius Gilliam.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cloris Guidry; step grandchild, Grant Byron; and Mr. and Mrs. Huey Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. until time of services.
