Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, July 16, 2012 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Joseph “Joe” Troy Bossley, 46, who died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Eastridge Nursing Center.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Fr. Corey Campeaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Justin Zeringue, John Ledet, Woodrow "Bubba" Bossley, Luke Bossley and Chad Broussard.

Joe was a veteran of the United States Navy who served our country during the Persian Gulf Conflict.

He is survived by his two daughters, Candice Bossley of Covington and Katelin Bossley of Erath; one brother, Kenneth Bossley and his wife, Irma of Abbeville; and three sisters, Sharon Guilbeaux and her husband, Richard of Abbeville, Deborah Bares and her husband, Mike of New Iberia, and Mona Zeringue and her husband, Mike of Lafayette.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Henry Bossley and the former Freddie Ann Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, July 15, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:30 p.m.; Monday, July 16, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
