Claude James Decuir

Entered into eternal rest Saturday, September 15,2007. Claude James Decuir, Jr., 64, died at 3:04 p.m., Saturday September 15,2007 at Abbeville General Hospital. Services will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at 3 :00 p.m. at Vincent Funeral Home. Rev. Greg Chauvin will officiate the services. Survivors include his wife Beverly Lormand Decuir; of Abbeville; a son, Steven Ellis and wife Shirley Newman Decuir of Kaplan; three brothers, Irvin and wife Jeanette Decuir, Hulin and wife Lane Naquin Decuir, and Milton and wife Deanna Langlinais Decuir all of Abbeville; and a sister, Hazel Decuir Desormeaux of Port Neches, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude and Zoline Lavergne Decuir, Sr.; and a sister, Vivian Decuir. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles St., Abbeville, Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
