She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Gaspard and his wife, Peggy of Abbeville, Presley Gaspard and his wife, Alena of Forked Island, and Keith Gaspard and his wife, Dena of Forked Island; two daughters, Sandra and her husband, Roland Thibodeaux of Kaplan and Donna Gaspard of Forked Island; thirteen grandchildren, Dominica Meaux, Pam Monteleone, Travis Gaspard, Nikola Derouen, Keisha Romero, Shalico Nunez, Brent Thibodeaux, Heather Kester, Cody LeBlanc, Phillip LeBlanc, Shonna LeBlanc, Kylie Gaspard, and Audrey Gaspard; and thirteen great grandchildren, Lauren LeBlanc, Cody LeBlanc Jr., Kaden LeBlanc, Balyn LeBlanc, Braxen LeBlanc, Landyn LeBlanc, Taylor Meaux, Gabriella Monteleone, Preston Monteleone, Crinnon Gaspard, Triston Gaspard, Dean Kester, and Alyssa Derouen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Flemon Gaspard; parents, Zedar Gaspard and the former Estelle Harrington; two brothers, Wilson and Olephide Gaspard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 8 a.m. until services.
