Abbeville — Memorial services will be held at a later date honoring the life of Roland Joseph Connor, Sr. 74, who died Monday, March 18, 2013 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ruth Frederick Connor; son, Roland Connor, Jr. and wife, Amy of Abbeville; daughters, Vicki Connor of Abbeville, and Crystal Lange and husband, Richie of Erath; and four grandchildren, Christian Connor, Daniel Lange, Bethany Lange, and Paige Garrow.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthe Connor and the former Anita Frederick.
