KAPLAN—Memorial services will be held at a later date honoring the life of Houston Joseph Simon, 87, who died Monday, March 18, 2013 at Vermilion Health Care Center.

He is survived by his son, Allen Ray Simon of Denham Springs; two daughters, Gloria Aucoin of St. Gabriel and Diana Fredricks of Gainesville, FL; three sisters, Willa Simon of Kaplan, Mary Lee Meaux of New Roads, and Dorthy Worth of Kaplan; three brothers, Curtis Simon, Claude Simon, and Allen Simon, all of Kaplan; seven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
