Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Nora Lee Schexnider, 65, who died Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Eastridge Nursing Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Maxie Schexnider of Kaplan; her daughter, Tanya and her husband, Chris Bouillion of Erath; two grandsons, Bryce and Justyn Bouillion both of Erath; three sisters, Laurabell and Mildred Brown, both of Crowley, and Kathleen Miller of Iota; and three brothers, Clarence, David, and Walter Brown, all of Crowley.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Stevlana Schexnider; parents, Edward Brown and the former Rosie Austin; and one sister, Alicemae Weldon.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, October 22, from 8 a.m. until services.
