Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Friday, November 1, 2013 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Nolan Clostio, 73, who died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Maison du Monde Nursing Home. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Juan Landry, Matthew Landry, Joey Simon, Jacob Simon, Dylan Schexnayder, and Cade Guidry. Honorary pallbearers will be Jude Landry and Joshua Simon.
He is survived by his four sons, Jimmie Clostio, Bill Clostio and his wife, Connie, Albert Clostio and his wife, Glenda, and James Brown, all of Oklahoma; five daughters, Faye and her husband, Bobby Graves of Oklahoma, Carlene and her husband, Donald Landry of Kaplan, Catherine and her husband, Dwayne Simon of Kaplan, Clarissa and her husband, Clay Guidry of Kaplan, and Chasity and her husband, Mike Monceaux of Kaplan; two sisters, Ozite Primeaux of Texas and Theresa Moore of Vinton; 27 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Clostio and the former Aurielia Hanks; one grandson, Neil Clostio; three brothers, Otto, Otis, and Clarence Clostio; two sisters, Ora Clostio Dartez and Annie Viator; and his ex-wife, Lou Ann Meaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, October 31, 2013 from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Friday, November 1, 2013 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
