He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Pres Riley officiating the services.
He is survived by daughter, Juanita A. Hardin and her husband, Carl; son, Paul N. Ardeneaux and his wife, Denise; grandchildren, Ruth H. Potier and her husband, Keith, Lisa H. Griffith and husband, Hallie, Amy H. Clark and her husband, Tommy, Janet H. Dahlen, Tony Hardin, Heath Veazey, Megan A. Chauvin and her husband, Brandon, Jared P. Ardeneaux, Hailey M. Ardeneaux, and Tim Hardin his wife, June and their children; great grandchildren, Alexis Paige Chauvin, Alayna Camille Chauvin, Karter Layne Ardeneaux, Matthew Griffith, Brett Griffith, Paige Potier Pieper, Seth Dahlen, Alex Clark, Ross Dahlen and Alexa Broussard; and great great grandchildren, Cameron Pieper, Luke Dahlen and Lily Dahlen; and sisters, Hilda Pesson and Delsey Luquette.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilda Toups Ardeneaux; parents, Ernest Ardeneaux and the former Laurance Toups; daughter, Joyce Veazey; sisters, Delta Thibeaux, and Olive Duhon; and grandson, Doyle Veazey.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.; Monday December 2, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services
