Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Sharon Johnnie Williams, 56, who died Thursday, November 28, 2013 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Ernest Williams III officiating the services.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley Williams of Kaplan; two daughters, Jy Johnnie of Kaplan and Tiffany Harmon of Kaplan; her son, Brent Williams of Oakland, CA; her grandchild, Ricki Williams of Kaplan; three brothers, Patrick Johnnie and his wife, Rosa of Lafayette, Douglas Johnnie and his wife, Leona of Lake Charles, and Moses Johnnie Jr. of Kaplan; and five sisters, Janis and her husband, Harry Rutland of Kaplan, Carla Johnnie of Kaplan, Sally and her husband, Marciano Cornelio of New Iberia, Joyse and her husband Richard Brown of Houston, Texas and Sandra Wise of Kaplan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Moses Johnnie Sr.; and two sisters, Genevia and Julie Johnnie.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 9 a.m. until services.
