Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Charlie Joseph Frederick, 57, who died Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Chester Arceneaux officiating the services.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Frederick of Abbeville; daughter, Heidi Frederick of Abbeville; brothers, Tommy Frederick and his wife Stacey of Maurice and Marvin Lee Frederick of Abbeville; sister, Marlene F. Mayer and her husband Bobby of Broussard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph E. Frederick and the former Mary Armosa Stelly.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
