Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Carl Bob Smith, 60, who died Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley. He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

He is survived by one son, Skippy Smith and his wife, Megan of Esterwood; one daughter, Nichole S. and her husband, Dave Jordan of Milton, FL; one sister, JoAnn and her husband, Jerald Trahan of Gueydan; one brother, Francis Smith of Gueydan; six grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew (Andy) Smith Sr. and the former Hilda Rose LaPointe; one son, Heith Smith; one brother, Andrew (Andy) Smith Jr.; and one nephew, William Patrick James.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Monday, December 16, 2013 from 9 a.m. until services on Tuesday. A rosary will be prayed at 7 on Monday evening.
