Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Mae Rose Mire, 83, who died Saturday, February 22, 2014 at AMG Specialty Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Paul Norris Lee Mire of Kaplan; one son, Byron P. Mire and his wife, Melissa of Kaplan; three grandchildren, Lacey and her husband, Brad Blanchard of Youngsville, Corky Mire and his fiancee, Abby Trahan of Kaplan, Cole Mire of Kaplan; three step-grandchildren, Megan Breaux and her husband, Eric Le' of Kaplan, Brian Roche and his wife, Bennie of Kaplan, Radonna Guidry of Kaplan; and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Vincent and the former Laurence Hebert; and five brothers, Joseph, Edward, Minos A., Dudley J., and Clarence Vincent.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, February 25, from 8 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
