Abbeville- A memorial will be held at a later date honoring the life of Doris Virginia Lewing, 78, who died Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She is survived by her two sons, James David Lewing, and Bud Lewing and his wife Lavonne; daughter, Chrisi Lewing and her husband, Michael Courtney; three grandchildren, Trey Lewing, Melissa March and Britany Kelley; and a host of great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Issac Renfro and the former Corrie Young.
