Joyce was born on the Liberty Farm to Lucille Suire and George Faulk. She was a housewife, mother, and loving grandmother.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Sidney Dartez of Kaplan; two daughters, Amanda and her husband, Doug Hebert and Jana and her husband, Thad Mire, all of Kaplan; three grandchildren, Skyla and her fiance, Del Campbell, Chase Hebert and Hillary Mire; and four great grandchildren, Sage Campbell, Kami, Rayn and Koen Trahan whom she loved with all her heart and soul.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George "Blanc" Faulk and the former Lucille Suire.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 8 a.m. until services; with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 a.m.
