Elson "B-B" Joseph Campbell
November 30, 1930 — August 2, 2014
He will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery with Reverend Lane Payne officiating the services.
Mr. Campbell was a loving father, grandfather and a friend to all. He loved to garden and enjoyed raising cattle.
He is survived by his daughters, Darnella (Kenneth) Burgess of Lafayette and Brenda (Gary) Cessac of Morton, MS; brother, Lanest Campbell of Lafayette; two sisters, Hazel Harrington of Abbeville and Velta Broussard of Borg, LA; 7 grandchilren; and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ellas Campbell and the former Elline Broussard; one daughter, Darilyn Landry; brother, Daniel Campbell; and grandson, Elson Edwin White.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Sunday August 3, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
