Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Jerome B. Hebert, 83, who died Monday, August 18, 2014 at Vermilion Health Care Center. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary L. Hebert of Kaplan; two daughters, Sonia and her husband, Lynn Hawkins of Broussard and Annette and her husband, Randy Stutes of Kaplan; three grandchildren, Jake Guidry, Alyssa Stutes, and Rana Stutes; one great grandson, Elijiah Stutes; and one brother, Willis Hebert, Jr. of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Hebert, Sr. and the former Winnie Dartez; and his first spouse, Lou Alice Doucet Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from from 8 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 11 a.m.
