Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Monday, August 25, 2014 at a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Carra Trahan, 95, who died Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Maison De Lafayette. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.

He is survived by his three sons, Norbert Trahan of Tampa, FL, Kendale Trahan and his wife, Katie of Palm Desert, CA, and Wayne Trahan and his wife, Susan of Kaplan; one daughter, Nora and her husband, Irby Bernard of Lafayette; one sister, Umae T. Meaux of Crowley; twelve grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Euphe Trahan and the former Noeda Roy; his first wife, Mazie Meaux Trahan; his second wife, Lula Adams Trahan; one son, Edward Trahan; and one grandson, Scott Trahan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 3:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m.; Monday, August 25, 2014 from 8 a.m. until services.
