He is survived by his wife, Arlene L. Choate of Pecan Island; his son, Ragon LeMaire of Nunez; one grandson, Blake LeMaire of Kaplan and his sister, Martha Campbell of Abbeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Severan and Nola Choate; and two sisters, Rose C. Sale and Thelma C. Hargrave.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed Thursday, September 18, at Vincent Funeral Home from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. at which time the procession will depart for the cemetery.
