Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Sedia Hollier, 73, who died Thursday, September 18, 2014 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Hollier of Kaplan; two sons, Rory Hollier and his wife, Kimberly of Algiers and Raylin Hollier and his wife, Ragina of Port Sulphur; three sisters, Thelma Simon of Kaplan, Delta Abshire of Crowley, and Mary Nell Broussard of Kaplan; eleven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bernadette Bubrig; two grandchildren, Jon and Braylin Hollier; one sister, Vivian Day; one brother, Horace Broussard; and her parents, Oneil Broussard and the former Lillian Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 9 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 a.m.
