Bernard Mcginn Boudreaux, Jr.

Ben was a graduate of Gulf Coast Military Academy in Gulfport, Mississippi and served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force. Ben farmed rice for over 50 years and loved his work. He treasured living on the Agnes Plantation where he often said “there is nowhere else I’d rather be”. He and his wife, Geney, enjoyed traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada and enjoyed many stops along the way visiting their nine children.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Genevieve Wilson Boudreaux; brother, John Walter Boudreaux; daughters, Angelique Boudreaux Ward , Rachael Boudreaux Novak, Camille Lara Boudreaux, Anne Michele Moresi, Mary Elise Moresi Doss, and Jean Margaret Moresi Cunningham; sons, Joseph Michael Moresi, and Harry James Moresi; grandchildren, Rachael Ingram Ward, Caroline Sommerville Ward, Hayden Davide’ Neveaux, Carter Daniel Detraz; Logan Warren, Bryan Warren, Rebecca Warren, Alexander Julian Cunningham, Emma Katherine Cunningham, Marie Vazquez Martinez, and Andrew Vazquez; and great grandsons, Danny John Neveaux and Tristan Andrew Vazquez.
He was preceded in death by his son, Julian McGinn Boudreaux;
father, Bernard McGinn Boudreaux, Sr.; and mother, Azelie Broussard Boudreaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; Friday, October 17, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
