She will be laid to rest at Petry Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.
Pallbearers will be Travis Thibodeaux, Dwayne Broussard, Henry Truax, Lollis Gaspard, Thomas C. LaSalle and Shawn LaSalle. Honorary pallbearers will be Landen Truax and Hayes Gaspard.
She is survived by her son, Thomas D. LaSalle and his wife Patsy of Forked Island; daugther, Gertie L. Thibodeaux and her husband Edless of Abbeville; six grandchildren, Travis Thibodeaux and his wife Dana of New Iberia, Crystal Gaspard and her husband Lollis of Abbeville, Tracy Truax and her husband Henry of Texas, Jamie Broussard and her husband Dwayne of Abbeville, Thomas C. LaSalle and his friend Erryca Courville of Meaux and Shawn LaSalle of Abbeville; and seven great grandchildren, Chantall Thiboeaux, Ashley Thibodeaux, Amber Gaspard, Paige Gaspard, Hayes Gaspard, Madison Truax and Landen Truax.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore LaSalle; parents, Clodias Romero and the former Amelia Viator; three brothers, Avery Romero, Toephile Romero and Evest Romero; and two sisters, Anita Boutte and Ella Romero.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 9:00 am until time of services. A rosary will be be prayed at 1:00 p.m.
