Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Hazel LeMaire Williams, 94, who died Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Acadia General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Robert Williams and his wife, Jane of Baton Rouge; her daughter, JoAnn Griffin of New Orleans; her sister, Ella Mae LeMaire Elder of Gueydan; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Williams; her parents Honora LeMaire and the former Scholastie Bourque; five brothers, Jack LeMaire, Eulice LeMaire, Otis LeMaire, Otto LeMaire, and Ewell "Did" LeMaire; and three sisters, Paula Mayer, Hilda Broussard, and Rosa Belle LeMaire .

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 9 a.m. until services.
