She will be laid to rest at The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church Cemetery with Rev. George Pookkattu, CMI officiating the services.
She is survived by her son, Jeffery Hollier; daughters, Margo LeBlanc and her husband Phillip, and Tandra Rodriquez and her husband Orlando; six grandchildren, Tyson Blanchard, Toby Blanchard, Ashlee Sands, Andrew Sands, Dylan Hollier and Blake Hollier; great-granddaughter, Olivia Blanchard; brothers, Johnny McMellon, and Burl Rylee and his wife Vickie; sister, Evelyn Adams and her husband Robert; and her beloved dog, Picou.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loy McMellon and the former Lillian Barbo; granddaughters, Kassia Williams and Rochelle Marie Hollier; and brother, Lloyd McMellon.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.
