He will be laid to rest at Macedonia Cemetery with Rev. E.J. Guidry officiating the services.
He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Rolanda Levine Antoine (Sedwin) of Lafayette, LA; a son, Roland J. Levine Jr. (Marchetta) of Abbeville, LA; his step children, Sean Phillips (Alicia) of Abbeville, LA, Kimberly Phillips Alexander (Marlon) of Abbeville, LA , Raymond Phillips (Tajah) of Abbeville, LA; two brothers, Herbert Levine Jr. (Freida) of Abbeville, LA, and Louis Levine (Lillian) of Dallas, TX; one sister, Maudry Fields of Killeen, TX; fourteen grandchildren, Sori Antoine of Lafayette, LA, Xavier Levine, Roland Levine III, LaShane Gage, Zane Gage, Daijah Phillips, Johna Lewis, Jade Lewis, Alison Phillips, Elizabeth Phillips, Sean Phillips Jr., Paisley Phillips, Ta’Nyla Phillips, and Kaelyn Phillips all of Abbeville, LA; three aunts, Verdner Levine of Abbeville, LA, Ada Bessard of Abbeville, LA, and Lucille Williams(Norman) of Abbeville, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He now joins in glory with his wife, Stella Phillips Levine; parents, Herbert Levine Sr. and Theresa Bessard Levine; one brother, Rainey Levine; one son, Renaldo Levine; and one niece Edith Matthews.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Macedonia Baptist Church, 607 S. Bailey Street, on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
