Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Leonie Adams Vincent, 91, who died Friday, February 13, 2015 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Edward Charles Vincent of Kaplan; her daughter, Frances V. Johnson of Houston, TX; four grandchildren, Simone and her husband, Jeremy Abshire, Gabrielle Vincent, Debbie and her husband, David Carroll, and Wendy Johnson; three great grandchildren, Rylee Abshire, Patrick Carroll and his wife, Tiffany, and Sarah Carroll; and one great-great grandchild, Jaxen Carroll.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Vincent; her parents, Amedee Adams and the former Rose Broussard; and her son-in-law, Emmet Johnson.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Monday, February 16, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services.
