Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at a 12 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Mary D. Broussard, 87, who died Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Johnny Broussard and his wife, Margaret of Kaplan; four grandchildren, Shane Broussard and his wife, Shauna of Kaplan, Anthony Broussard of Maurice, Cory Broussard and his wife, Angela of Kaplan, and Kyle Broussard of San Diego, CA; seven great grandchildren, Colby Broussard and his wife, Caroline, Brett Broussard, Peyton Broussard, Gavin Broussard, Reed Broussard, Alex Broussard, and Lexi Broussard, all of Kaplan; and one sister, Velma Thibodeaux LeBlanc of Port Arthur, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Eldes Broussard; and her parents, John and Eve Dartez.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Friday, February 20, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services.
