He will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services. Concelebrant for the services will be Father Joe Templado.
Pallbearers will be David Veazey, Adam Girouard, Scotty Broussard, Randal Broussard, Jerry Veazey, Luke Harrington, Trent Menard and Derrick Conner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lane Girouard, Garret Veazey and Adrian Duke Conner.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Breaux Veazey; his son, David Aaron Veazey and his wife, Connie; daughter, Jamie Veazey Girouard and her husband, Adam; his mother, Ina Broussard Veazey; two brothers, James Glenn Veazey and Deryl F. Veazey and his wife, Michelle; two granddaughters, Charly McKenna Veazey and Lily Ann Veazey; and a grandson, Lane Ellery Girouard.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob Glenn Veazey; and niece, Stacy Veazey.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday April 7, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
