Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church honoring the life of Hazel Credeur Thibodeaux, 85, who died Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Cossinade Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Carol Lee Thibodeaux and his wife, Lella Marie of Kaplan; two daughters, Faye Thibodeaux and her companion, Glenn Jones of Crowley and Gloria and her husband, Wilford "Ducey" Schexnayder of Kaplan; four sisters, Agnes LeJeune of Lake Charles, Marie Forrestier of Sunset, Bea Adams of Broussard, and Viola "Do" Granger of Scott; three grandchildren, Joshua James Schexnayder and his wife, Shayna of Mermentau Cove, Todd Michael Schexnayder and his wife, Megan of Kaplan, and Laura Carlene Smith and her fiancé, Charlie Broadway of Humble, TX; two great grandchildren, McKenzie Rose Schexnayder and Brayden James Schexnayder; and her daughter-in-law, Darlene Smith of Conroe, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oudly "Red" Thibodeaux; one son, Floyd James Smith; her parents, Colombus Credeur and the former Josephine Menard; and two brothers, Louis Lessin Credeur and Lester "T-Frais" Credeur.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, April 6, 2015 from from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
