Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Mary Rose Dartez, 76, who died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Acadia General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Hebert Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Jody James Dartez and his wife, Tilly of Kaplan; one daughter, Debra and her husband, Harry Istre of Kaplan; one sister, Jean Touchet of Morgan City; three grandchildren, Shantell Guidry, Justin Dartez, and Brandon Dartez; and two great grandchildren, Lauren Guidry and Wesley Paul Dartez.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Dartez; her parents, Lawrence Rung and the former Ematile Gaspard; and several brothers and sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services.
