Lola Bares Frederick
March 15, 1931 — April 18, 2015
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Brian Frederick, Jason Frederick, Keith Broussard, Philip Laperouse, Mitchell Laperouse and Josh LeMaire.
She is survived by her three sons, Paul Frederick and his wife, Marsha of Lafayette, Charles Frederick and his wife, Denise of Abbeville, and Mark Frederick and his wife, Darlene of Rhode Island; two daughters, Suzanne Broussard and her husband, Alan of Abbeville, and Margaret Laperouse and her husband, Tommy of Abbeville; brother, Sidney Bares of Abbeville; sister, Florence Steinhorst of Lafayette; seven grandchildren, Brian Frederick, Keith Broussard, Sheri Frederick, Jason Frederick, Philip Laperouse, Carla Frederick LeMaire and Mitchell Laperouse; and great grandchildren, Alesha Broussard, Brooklen Broussard, Lola Claire Frederick, Caelie Broussard, Grace Fontenot, Brittany Marks, Abigail Boudreaux, and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Frederick; parents, Azare Bares and the former Emerente LeBlanc.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
