Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Jessie “Brother” Marceaux, 72, who died Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services.

He is survived by his three sons, Terry Marceaux of Gonzales, Jessie "Joe" Corley of Gonzales, and Danny Corley of Gonzales; two daughters, Jessica and her husband, Scott Williams of Gonzales and Tiffany Marceaux of Lafayette; two sisters, Marilene and her husband, Wilburn "Moon" Mullen of New Orleans and Betty and her husband, Oran Gaspard of Kaplan; one brother, Clerfe Sonnier and his wife, Joyna of Milton, FL; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delma Marceaux and the former Beatrice Mallet; and one great grandson, Nicholas Corley.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m.; Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 10 a.m. until services.
