Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015 at Harvest Time Tabernacle honoring the life of Cheryl Suire Schexneider, 64, who died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Abbeville General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Pastor Robert Wells officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Donnie H. Schexneider of Kaplan; one son, Adam Schexneider and his wife, Kelly of Lafayette; one step-daughter, Kristie Lee and her husband, John Boulet of Lafayette; her mother, Mary Dubois Suire Oels of Kaplan; four sisters, Kathy and her husband, Gerald Broussard of Abbeville, Dot and her husband, Bobby Breaux of Kaplan, Joan Suire of Kaplan, and Lisa and her husband, Duane Frederick of Kaplan; two grandchildren, Brett and Madison Schexneider of Lafayette; two step-grandchildren, Jacob and Logan Boulet of Lafayette; one great grandchild, Melanie Grace Boulet of Lafayette; numerous nieces; numerous nephews; numerous great nieces; and numerous great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Newton "Bee" Suire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Harvest Time Tabernacle, 901 Senior High Drive, on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 9 a.m. until services.
