She will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia with Reverend Lane Payne officiating the services.
Alice had a touch of magic when it came to gardening. She was a lover of books, going fishing and collecting dolls.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri Lyn Broussard Meaux and her husband, Larry Davie Meaux; three grandchildren, Trinity Caine Bourque and his wife, Molly Porter Bourque, Tayla Mikel Leger and her husband, Jared Leger, and Delaney Kaye Meaux; five great grandchildren, Kayne, Elijah, Avery, Owen and Everly; nieces and nephews, Gary Webb and his wife, Gayla, Sherry Franz and her husband, Ken, Bill Webb and his wife, Bonnie; and special friend, Cliffy Trahan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Broussard; and parents, Lew Parker and the former Elsie Ray.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
