A gathering of family and friends will be prior to the Mass, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at St. Mary Magdalen Church.
Kenny was a native of Abbeville, of which he lived and worked for many years but moved away to pursue other career opportunities. He was very artistic in both gardening and the culinary arts. He always had a project in the works!
He is survived by his sister, Denise M. Hebert and husband Stephen of Maurice, and brothers, Thomas A. Laperouse and wife Margaret, Edmond T. Laperouse and wife Monique, and David B. Laperouse and wife Christine, all of Abbeville, and 12 nieces and nephews, and 9 great nieces and great nephews.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley T. and Kenneth J. Laperouse, Sr.; his grandparents, Albert J. and Zulma D. Taylor, and Lionel T. and Olive D. Laperouse; and by a sister, Mamie Elizabeth Laperouse.
