Thomas Paul Broussard

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Scott LaPointe, Hunter LaPointe, Timothy Broussard, Anthony Broussard, Alvin Hartley and Jessy Boudreaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Derek Broussard, Luke Broussard and Will Broussard.
Thomas was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially while fishing and crabbing. He had a special love for all animals.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rebecca Meaux Broussard; son, Derek Broussard and his wife Kim; daughters, Christine Fields and her husband Rick, Bridget Lapointe and her husband Scott, and Amber Broussard and her fiance Al Hartley, Annette Katherine Myers and her husband Keith, and Athena Larson and her husband John; grandchildren, Chelsea Lapointe, Hunter Lapointe, Luke Broussard and Will Broussard; sister, Lennis Ann Touchet and her husband Paul; brother, David Broussard and his wife Mary; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lennis Paul Broussard and the former Wyline Theresa Hargrave; brothers, Richard Dale Broussard and Jeffery Wayne Broussard; and sister, Linda Sue Mouton.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday, June 1, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
