Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Ozite Bourque Trahan, 96, who died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services.

She is survived by her two daughters, Geneva and her husband, Terry Boudreaux of Scott and Vivian T. Green of Maurice; two granddaughters, Nicole Vincent of Alexandria, VA and Meredith and her husband, Lyndon Shumaker of El Reno, OK; three grandsons, Todd Boudreaux and his wife, Maryann of Lafayette, Thad Boudreaux of Louisville, KY, and Troy Boudreaux and his wife, Yvonne of Pensacola, FL; three great granddaughters; and four great grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Trahan; her parents, Avic Bourque and the former Elodie LeMaire; her twin sister, Olite Bertrand; and one brother, Elue P. Bourque.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Friday, June 5, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services.
