Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Joseph Ray Miller, 68, who died Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Debra S. Miller of Kaplan; two sons, Arthur Monceaux of Morse and Justin Miller of Kaplan; one step-son, Damon Dronet of Kaplan; one daughter, Trudy Miller of Crowley; three step-daughters, Dana Dronet of Arkansas, Dell and her husband, Gary Brown of Esterwood, and Delana Gaspard of Rayne; one brother, Lee Miller of Maurice; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his step-son, Dwayne Dronet; his parents, Emile Miller and the former Annie Louviere; and two brothers, Rodney Miller and Eugene "Big Foot" Miller.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 9 a.m. until services.
