Evelyn Schexnider Gaspard

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating the services.
She is survived by her sons, Harold Gaspard and his wife Karen, Minos Gaspard and his wife Dianna, Jude Gaspard and his wife Nicole, and Chad Gaspard and his wife Elizabeth; daughters, Brenda Menard and her husband Chris, Linda Adams and her husband Roy, Loretta Richard and her husband Jonas, and Nikki Olson and her husband David; brother, Wilson Schexnider; special grandson and caregiver, Heith Gaspard and his wife Sharon; fifteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Minos Gaspard; parents, Clemile Schexnider and the former Amelia Rome; daughters, Diana Richard and Delores McMellon; sisters, Dorothy LeBlanc and Eula Mae Marceaux; brothers, Percy Schexnider, Murphy Schexnider and Lennis Schexnider; and grandchildren, Mary Ann Gaspard, Debbie McMellon, Duke McMellon, Luke McMellon, Jill Richard, Rachel Richard and Todd Richard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
