He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Fruge Belaire of Gueydan; four sons, Robert Belaire and his wife, Cindy of Fred, TX, Dwayne Belaire and his wife, Susan of Carencro, Kevin Belaire and his wife, Donna of Hayes, and Kent Belaire of Gueydan; and one daughter, Vickie Belaire of Iota; one brother, Rivis Belaire and his wife, Melba of Morse; four grandchildren, Ashley Belaire, Corey Belaire, Victoria Sauseda, and Christopher Belaire; and four great grandchildren, Grace Belaire, Mason Belaire, Chloe Sauseda, and Mia Sauseda.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Presley Belaire Sr. and the former Ethal Hanks; and three grandchildren, Rowan, Sara, and Phillip Belaire.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Monday, August 31, from 8 a.m. until services.
