Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Joseph Touchet, 87, who died Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Maison du Monde Living Center. He will be laid to rest at St. David Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

He is survived by his two sons, Dwight Touchet and his companion, Sara Bell of Henry and Pullen Touchet and his wife, Natilie of Youngsville; two daughters, Dianna Touchet of Maurice and Arletta and her husband, James Choate of Kaplan; one brother, Paul "Mayo" Touchet of Kaplan; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Broderick Touchet; his parents, Ernest Touchet and the former Inia Vincent; two brothers, Mayard and Theard Touchet; and his former wife, May Dora Touchet.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services.
