Mary Jean Frederick Clark

She will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Father Jerry Mesley officiating the services.
Mary was born in Abbeville and earned a nursing degree from LSUE. She was a nurse and caregiver from 1967 until 2008. She was a member of numerous nursing organizations and Woodmen of the World.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Clark Broussard and husband Mark of Maurice; brother, Jessie Frederick and his partner Judy; sisters, Shirley Fontenot and her husband Efton Joe and Juliette Mouton; granddaughter, Alexis Renee' Broussard; and a sister-in-law, Wilda Mae Frederick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Woodley Clark; parents, Claude Frederick and the former Marie Suire; brothers, Johnny Frederick, Claude (Bobby) Frederick, Jr. and Billy Frederick; and in-laws, Arthur and Ethel B. Clark.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hospice of Acadiana and her niece, Vanessa Brasseaux and all family and friends for their support and compassion in her time of need.
