Kaplan— A memorial mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Robert Dale Vincent, 70, who died Monday, September 7, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Fr. Mark Miley officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Velma "Teeta" Simon Vincent of Kaplan; two daughters, Rachael Vincent and her husband, Marty J. Lormand of Kaplan and Mary Ellen and her spouse, Kimberly Vincent of Lafayette; one son-in-law, Kevin Trahan of Kaplan; eight grandchildren, Gabrielle Lormand, Rhemy Lormand, Rhys Lormand, Alexandra Trahan, Cale Trahan, Nate Trahan, Sara-Kate Trahan, and Hadley Vincent; and one nephew, Roderick Vincent.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dana Vincent Trahan; his parents, Willis Vincent and the former Mable Gaspard; one brother, Jerome Vincent; one sister, Mary Ellen Vincent; and one nephew, Michael Vincent.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 600 N. Church Avenue, on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 12 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 12:30 p.m.
