Kaplan —Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall honoring the life of Ibra Miller, 85, who died Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Pecan Island Community Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn Broussard Miller of Pecan Island; two sons, Darrell Miller of Abbeville, Wayne Miller and his wife, Rhonda of Pecan Island; one daughter, Sherry and her husband, Mike Broussard of Pecan Island; one brother, Leroy Miller and his wife, Lina of Ragley; nine grandchildren, Coy Miller, Jill Gaspard, Chet Miller, Christine Abshire, Anthony Broussard, Candice, Brock, Haley and Michael Miller; and twelve and three-quarter great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Allen J. Miller; and his parents, Ignace Miller and the former Edolia Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall in Pecan Island on Monday, November 2, 2015 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 03, from 8 a.m. until services.
