Anna Lou Meaux Bourque

Many residents of Abbeville may know "Momma Lou" as she was called, for the business she and her husband owned and operated in Abbeville known as Bourque's Grocery located on Graceland Street near the trade school.
She is survived by one sister, Gladys Meaux, wife of Dudley Meaux of Abbeville; and various nieces, nephews and godchildren who she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her late husband Elue P. Bourque; sister, Agnes Dyson, wife of the late Knox Dyson; and parents, Eulgere "Buck" Meaux and Pauline Foreman Meaux of Abbeville.
We would like to offer thanks to the staff at Vermilion Health Care for all they have done during her stay there.
From all of us to you, Miss Anna Lou, we will miss you and this world will not be the same without you in our lives.
