Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Rita Mae Istre Credeur, 70, who died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, Jessie Credeur of Crowley; two sons, Steven J. Credeur and his wife, Georgia Perry of Florida, and Kenneth A. Credeur of Crowley; three daughters, Lori and her husband, Nolan Laviolette of Erath, Sharon LeJeune of Jonesboro, and Connie and her husband, Ray Soltis of Portsmouth, VA; one brother, Jerry P. Istre of Crowley; one sister, Olida Marie Istre of Crowley; five grandchildren, Nicole Laviolette, Erika Laviolette, Holly Soltis, Anna Soltis, and Denise Credeur; and one great grandchild, Mia Nicole LaPoint.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clesmay Istre and the former Leah Leger; and one brother, Terry Michael Istre.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 11 a.m.
