He is survived by his wife, Myrna Hernandez of Gueydan; one son, Shane Faulk of Kaplan; two sisters, Dot Walker of Gonzales and Gwen Robicheaux of New Orleans.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrose Hernandez and the former Bertha May Huffman; four brothers, Willie Hamilton, A.J., Lowell, and Huey Hernandez; and one sister, Laverne Rodriguez.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 11 a.m. until services.
