Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Helen T. Trahan, 85, who died Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Maison De Lafayette. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by her three daughters, Linda T. Mayers of Gonzales, Delores T. Huffman and her husband, John of Longview, TX, and Debbie T. Guidry and her husband, Scott of Kaplan; one brother, John Melvin Trahan of Kaplan; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Trahan; her son, Thomas Wayne Trahan; and her parents, Elier Trahan and the former Ella Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 9 a.m. until the procession departs for the church at 1:45 p.m.
