Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Celeste Marie Foster, 54, who died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by her spouse, James Polk of Kaplan; one son, Gary Joseph Foster and his fiancé, Trey Rayborn of Kaplan; one daughter, Angelique and her husband, Jeremie Williams of Gueydan; four grandchildren, Hunter Boudreaux, Bryce Hardy, Britlyn Sonnier, and Kelsey Williams; two sisters, Sue Landry of Cow Island and Mandy Hebert of Forked Island; two brothers, Therman Lyons of Gueydan and Sherman Lyons of Abbeville.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Natasha Lynn Foster; her parents, Joseph Wilson Lyons and the former Patricia Cox; and one brother, John "Bee" Lyons.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 9 a.m. until services.
