Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Delphine Guidry Menard, 87, who died Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Maison du Monde Living Center.
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.
She is survived by her son, Ravis Menard and wife Sandra of Kaplan; three grandchildren, Candace Kasperski, Brooke Stelly and Nichole David; and four great grandchildren, Morgan Adams, Carly Stelly, Ali Kasperski and Analyse David.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Menard; parents, Charles Guidry and the former Ella LeMaire; and brother, George Guidry.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, May 1, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
